The development of green economy in Vietnam

Natural resource exploration has helped many economies in the world achieve high growth rates over a long period of time. However, this has caused negative impacts on the environment, such as air, water, and ocean pollution, and climate change. In that context, the green economy has become an inevitable trend for countries, including Vietnam, to achieve sustainable economic growth and protect the environment. This study analyzed and evaluated the current green economic development in Vietnam. Based on the study’s findings, some solutions were proposed to help Vietnam achieve its economic growth goals as well as ensure social security and protect the environment and ecosystem.
