The banking digital transformation in Vietnam: current situation and solutions

Abstract
In the age of technology 4.0, digital transformation is becoming an essential trend in many fields, especially the banking and finance industry. The digital transformation of Vietnam’s banking industry has achieved certain achievements, contributing to the country’s economic development. However, the actual banking digital transformation also faces many difficulties and obstacles that need to be solved. It needs to seek solutions to facilitate the banking digital transformation to achieve set goals in the plan of banking digital transformation during the period from 2025 to 2030. This paper analyzed and evaluated the current banking digital transformation in Vietnam. Based on the paper’s findings, some solutions were proposed to support the banking digital transformation in Vietnam.
