Increasing the competitive advantage of Vietnamese businesses through greening supply chains

Abstract
This paper presented perspectives on green supply chain approaches and the current situation of "greening" the supply chain of Vietnamese enterprises. Green production is a global trend as a positive solution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, aiming for carbon neutrality and sustainable development. Green products and greening production processes is the solution for many businesses to increase brand value in the marketplace. Besides, green growth and sustainable development are also specified by many regulations and commitments in new-generation bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements (FTAs) that Vietnam has signed. Based on the paper’s findings, some solutions were proposed to support the supply chain greening process of Vietnamese businesses to enhance their competitive advantage.
