Solutions for promoting Vietnam’s coconut export to the European market

Abstract
This paper analyzed coconut consumption in the European market and the standards for exporting coconuts to this market. Based on the paper’s findings, some recommendations and solutions were proposed to improve the export value of Vietnamese coconuts to the European market after the EVFTA agreement was signed. The paper’s results showed that Europe is a potential market for countries with strengths in coconut products. The countries that are exporting the most to the European market are Ivory Coast and Thailand. Vietnam has become a bright spot in Europe's coconut import market in recent years.
