The impact of foreign direct investment on local labour productivity: A case study of Quang Ninh province

Abstract

This study explored the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on labor productivity in Quang Ninh province. This study used statistical analysis and multivariate regression methods to analyze the 2013–2023 data set from the Department of Planning and Investment of Quang Ninh province. The study’s results showed that the impact of FDI on labor productivity in Quang Ninh province is not significant. The study also analyzed the causes of this finding and proposed some appropriate recommendations.
