Current situation and solutions for tourism economy development in Son La province during the 2020 - 2025 period

Abstract

This study employs synthesis, document analysis, and field survey methods to examine the current state of the tourism economy in Son La province during the 2020 - 2025 period, using key indicators such as tourism revenue, tourist arrivals, infrastructure and facilities, tourism products, and the tourism workforce. The findings reveal that Son La’s tourism economy has achieved notable growth over the period, although several constraints continue to hinder its development. On this basis, the study proposes a set of solutions aimed at promoting the sustainable development of the tourism economy in Son La province in the coming years.
