Factors influencing stock prices of listed companies on the Vietnamese stock market
Published: July 26, 2026
Abstract
This study investigates the factors influencing the stock prices of VN100-listed companies in the Vietnamese stock market. Using the GMM regression method, the research examines a sample of VN100 companies traded on the Vietnamese stock market from 2019 to 2024. The findings reveal a statistically significant positive correlation between EPS and P/E ratios with stock prices (PV), whereas GDP and the Covid-19 pandemic exert a negative impact. The results offer empirical insights into the valuation dynamics of equity markets in emerging economies and contribute to the literature on stock price behavior in transitional financial systems.
