Digital transformation in coal mining enterprises - Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited

This study analyzes the current state of digital transformation in coal mining enterprises under the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV) and proposes solutions to accelerate the process. The findings indicate that although digital transformation is an inevitable trend, most coal mining enterprises under TKV still face major challenges, including limited investment capital and shortages in both the quantity and quality of human resources. The study recommends that TKV enterprises enhance the use of their science and technology development funds, improve organizational structures by establishing digital transformation offices, and foster a digital culture to promote successful digital transformation across the sector.
