Development orientation for the logistics infrastructure of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province: Vision towards 2050

Abstract
Ba Ria - Vung Tau identifies the logistics sector as one of the four economic pillars of the province and is aiming to become a national marine economic center and an important logistics hub for the country and the region. In line with this orientation, the development of logistics infrastructure is considered an important and urgent task. On December 16, 2023, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1629/QD-TTg approving the planning of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision towards 2050. This study focuses on assessing the current situation, compiling and analyzing the development orientations for logistics infrastructure in the province, and proposing several solutions for implementing investment and infrastructure upgrading plans in accordance with the orientations toward 2030 and the vision toward 2050.
