Abstract
This study examines the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on income inequality in selected Asian countries. Using data from the World Bank covering the period 2010–2022 for 11 Asian nations, the research employs empirical analysis to assess key influencing factors. The findings indicate that FDI, along with economic development, trade openness, urbanization, education levels, human capital, and skill scarcity, significantly affect income inequality. These insights provide a deeper understanding of the relationship between FDI and income distribution, offering implications for policymakers seeking to promote more equitable economic growth.
