Application of reverse logistics in supply chain management in Vietnam: Practices and challenges

Abstract

This study explores the application of reverse logistics in supply chain management, with a primary focus on analyzing its benefits and challenges. Utilizing qualitative research methods and surveys, the study evaluates the effectiveness of reverse logistics implementation by companies in Vietnam. The findings reveal that reverse logistics offers significant cost-saving advantages and contributes to environmental sustainability. However, the study also identifies challenges, such as high initial investment costs and a lack of experience, which need to be addressed to maximize the benefits of reverse logistics for businesses.
