Current situation and strategic solutions for developing Phu Yen Province’s tourism industry into a key economic sector

In recent years, tourism in Phu Yen province has seen notable improvements, contributing positively to the region's overall socio-economic development. However, the sector has yet to fully realize its potential and establish itself as a leading economic driver. This paper analyzes the current state of tourism development in Phu Yen province, identifies existing limitations, and proposes strategic solutions to enhance the sector’s growth. The aim is to support Phu Yen province in positioning tourism as a spearhead economic sector by 2030, aligned with the province’s long-term development goals.
