Exploring the relationship between social sustainability and supply chain efficiency: A case study of SMEs in Vietnam

Abstract
This study identified the relationship between social sustainability and supply chain efficiency in Vietnam. The study’s results proved that socially sustainable development has a significant impact on operational efficiency and strengthens the connection between members of the supply chain. It highlighted that social sustainability plays an important role in achieving business goals and the performance of companies. In addition, policies and management approaches with socially sustainable activities not only help companies achieve higher performance but also contribute positively to the sustainable development of local communities.
