Published: July 24, 2026
Abstract
This article studies the factors affecting dividend policies of transportation and logistics companies listed on the Vietnam stock market. The data are taken from the financial statements of 21 listed companies during the period from 2010 to 2019. The study uses estimation techniques of Pooled OLS Model, Fixed Effects Model (FEM) and Random Effects Model (REM) for panel data. The regression results show that the factors affecting a business's dividend policy are: previous year's dividend policy, Retained Earnings/Total Assets, Market Value/Book Value, and Size.
