Developing logistics centers - The inevitable development direction of Vietnam's logistics industry

Abstract

This paper explored the current situation of Vietnam's logistics industry, thereby proposing solutions to establish logistics centers. The paper’s findings showed that Vietnam’s logistics industry has experienced strong growth with encouraging results over the years. However, there is a lack of logistics centers in Vietnam to optimize logistics activities. This paper made some recommendations for state management agencies and proposed four major solutions to develop logistics centers in Vietnam, including choosing locations, developing services, mobilizing financial resources, and developing human resources. This paper is expected to contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnam's logistics industry.
