Some solutions to improve the scientific socialism teaching activities at Vietnamese universities and colleges

This paper analyzes the current scientific socialism teaching activities at some universities and colleges in Vietnam. The paper points out two basic outstanding problems that affect the quality and effectiveness of scientific socialism teaching. Firstly, a part of the students are not properly aware of the role and meaning of studying scientific socialism; hence, they do not have the appropriate attitude and methods for studying this subject. Secondly, there are some inadequacies in applying the teaching methods for the scientific socialism subject. Based on the paper’s findings, some solutions are proposed to improve the quality of teaching the scientific socialism subject in universities and colleges.
