Assessing the impact of human resource management practices in the context of digital transformation on the performance of small and medium-sized trading and service enterprises in Hanoi City from a financial perspective

Abstract

This study explores the components of human resource management practices that affect the performance of small and medium-sized trading and service enterprises in Hanoi City from a financial perspective. The study finds that there are five practical components of human resource management practices that have a positive correlation with the financial performance of small and medium-sized trading and service enterprises in Hanoi. These components are recruitment and selection, employee training, performance assessment, salary and bonus, and digital transformation in human resource management. Although the digital transformation component has a very small impact on the financial performance of enterprises, it has proven its influence on their financial health, opening up new research approaches in the future.
