Solutions for improving the national defense capabilities in the context of Vietnam’s proactive integration process

International integration is an objective requirement and an inevitable trend for all nations in the current context of globalization. For Vietnam, the Communist Party of Vietnam has set the direction of “proactive and comprehensive international integration”. Vietnam’s integration process has profoundly impacted all socio-economic aspects, including the defense sector. On the one hand, the integration process would strengthen national defense capabilities. On the other hand, it also poses certain challenges and difficulties. This paper presents solutions to improve the national defense capabilities in the context of Vietnam’s proactive integration process.
