Developing community-based tourism sustainably in Vietnam

According to Vietnam’s Tourism Development Strategy to 2030, the country aims to develop a sustainable and inclusive tourism industry based on green growth and maximize the contribution of tourism to the country’s Sustainable Development Goals. In order to achieve these goals, it is necessary for Vietnam to develop community-based tourism sustainably. This paper analyzes some basic issues about community-based tourism in Vietnam and makes recommendations for the sustainable development of this tourism model.
