Assessing the factors affecting the job satisfaction and work motivation of officials and public servants working for the People's Committee of Cam Lam district, Khanh Hoa province through the linear structural modeling (PLS-SEM) method

This study assesses the factors affecting the job satisfaction and work motivation of officials and public servants working for the People's Committee of Cam Lam district, Khanh Hoa province. The study’s data is collected from 202 officials and public servants who are responsible for doing public services in Cam Lam district. The linear structural modeling (PLS-SEM) method is used in the study. The study’s results show that there are five independent factors and one intermediate variable affecting the job satisfaction and work motivation of officials and public servants. These factors, listed in the descending order of impacting level, are (1) Training and development, (2) Environment and working conditions, (3) Career advancement opportunities, (4) Salary and benefits, and (5) Colleague and leadership relations, and the intermediate variable is Job satisfaction.
