The current situation and solutions for the vocational training of rural agricultural workers in Vietnam

Vocational training for workers plays an important role in the restructuring of rural agricultural labor in order to develop modern rural agricultural areas. Besides some achieved encouraging results, the vocational training for rural agricultural labor still has many shortcomings. For example, the proportion of workers participating in agricultural activities is still large, the number of trained workers is quite low, and many trained workers still not meet requirements. This paper addresses some issues relating to the vocational training for rural agricultural workers in practice. The paper also proposes some measures based on new perspectives to overcome limitations in the vocational training for rural agricultural workers.
