Published: July 21, 2026
Abstract
In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the digital transformation trend and factors associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses are required to increase the flexibility and adaptability of their human resources and organizations. To solve unprecedented problems, businesses have to pay more attention to train and develop human resources. Currently, businesses are shifting from training and developing to learning and developing human resources. It requires businesses to become learning organizations, and create a favourable environment for individuals, groups and the whole organization to constantly learn and innovate. This paper studies the nature of learning organization, and presents the practical lessons about learning organization development of Google LLC and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
