Integrated management solutions for agricultural farming models: An environmental, economic, and social sustainability perspective
Xuất bản: tháng 6 20, 2026
Tóm tắt
Sustainable agricultural development requires an integrated approach that balances environmental, economic, and social sustainability. This study examines farming practices and assessment methods in Vietnam, highlighting gaps between domestic evaluations and international standards. Environmentally, farmers often focus on cultivation techniques while giving limited attention to environmental impacts, and research on emissions and energy use remains limited. Economically, shifting from rice to specialized or rotational crops, especially leafy vegetables, can improve efficiency and household income. Socially, Vietnamese assessments emphasize knowledge improvement and poverty reduction, whereas international frameworks also consider farmer well-being and community benefits. To balance economic gains with socio-ecological sustainability, this study proposes a governance framework based on socio-ecological systems theory, focusing on environmental education, profitable land-use conversion, and stronger cooperative governance.
