Realizing the goal of double-digit economic growth in Lam Dong Province: Current situation, challenges, and solutions

Vietnam has set the goal of achieving double-digit economic growth in the coming period to create momentum for rapid and sustainable national development. Therefore, this study analyzes the guiding viewpoints of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Government of Vietnam on realizing the goal of double-digit economic growth, while assessing the current implementation situation in Lam Dong Province. The study employs methods of analysis and synthesis of secondary documents, descriptive statistics, and comparison of the province’s socio-economic indicators. The study findings show that Lam Dong Province has achieved many positive results in economic growth, sectoral restructuring, investment attraction, and the development of areas such as high-tech agriculture, tourism, and services. However, the province still faces several limitations, including a small economic scale, uneven growth quality, socio-economic infrastructure constraints, and limited competitiveness. On this basis, the study proposes several solutions to effectively exploit resources, promote competitive advantages, and renew the growth model, thereby contributing to the realization of the province’s double-digit growth target in the coming period.
