Abstract
In today’s highly dynamic business environment, organizations face increasing uncertainty driven by technological disruptions, market volatility, climate change, and geopolitical instability. As a result, risk management has become a critical organizational capability. At the same time, knowledge management has emerged as a strategic approach for acquiring, sharing, storing, and utilizing organizational knowledge. Although traditionally treated as separate management domains, recent studies indicate a strong interrelationship between knowledge management and risk management. This study reviews relevant theoretical literature and finds that effective knowledge management enhances risk identification, risk assessment, risk mitigation, and organizational resilience. Conversely, risk management contributes to knowledge creation by identifying knowledge gaps and promoting organizational learning.
