Abstract

This article examines the main applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in financial literacy (FL) education through a qualitative and conceptual analysis based on a selective synthesis of international studies and policy reports. It aims to clarify the role, mechanisms of impact, and deployment conditions of AI in enhancing financial literacy. The article focuses on key areas in which AI can contribute, including personalized financial education, financial decision support, risk prevention, the mitigation of behavioral biases, and the promotion of financial inclusion. On this basis, it identifies policy implications for Vietnam to effectively integrate AI applications into financial literacy enhancement strategies, while strengthening the legal framework for transparency and consumer protection. The study contributes to efforts to narrow financial literacy gaps and promote sustainable personal financial decision-making in the digital age.
