The law on personal data protection in civil relations and business activities in Vietnam

Abstract
This study examines theoretical and practical issues concerning personal data protection in civil relations and business activities in Vietnam. By clarifying individuals’ rights over their personal data and the responsibilities of relevant entities in the collection, processing, and use of such data, the article identifies several shortcomings in the practical protection of personal data. On this basis, it proposes solutions to improve the legal framework and enhance the effectiveness of personal data protection in civil relations and business activities.
