Analysis of the current situation and proposed solutions to improve product quality: A case study of an FDI enterprise in the electronics industry

Abstract

This study analyzes the current situation and proposes solutions to improve product quality in an FDI enterprise in the electronics industry. The findings show that the product quality rate has not yet reached the company’s target of 98%. The main causes include manual visual inspection failing to detect minor defects, inadequate removal of metal debris after the Bitcut process, and unstable fixtures causing component detachment. Based on the results, the study proposes solutions such as applying high-resolution CCD inspection systems, installing automatic air nozzles, and improving fixture covers. These improvements help address critical defects and optimize production efficiency.
