Determinants of the ecological agricultural value chain in the context of digital transformation: Evidence from Ha Tinh province

Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing the ecological agricultural value chain in the context of digital transformation in Ha Tinh Province. Employing a quantitative research approach, the study analyzes data collected from 320 observations using a multivariate regression model. The results reveal five factors that exert significant positive effects on the development of the ecological agricultural value chain. Ranked according to their standardized regression coefficients (Beta), these factors are: (1) technology and digital infrastructure; (2) markets and consumer demand; (3) culture and social awareness; (4) financial and investment resources; and (5) human resources and digital capabilities. These findings provide an empirical basis for identifying strategic priorities to strengthen and sustainably develop the ecological agricultural value chain in Ha Tinh Province amid the ongoing process of digital transformation
