The impact of parental involvement on social skill development of preschool children in Ho Chi Minh City

Abstract
This study evaluates the impact of parental involvement on preschool children’s social skills in Ho Chi Minh City and examines the mediating role of learning engagement. Data from 250 respondents were analyzed using PLS-SEM. Results indicate that parental involvement positively affects both learning engagement and social skills. The study contributes to early childhood education literature and provides practical recommendations for preschools.
