Differences in students’ future crypto-asset investment intentions: A study at An Giang University
Published: August 8, 2026
Abstract
This study examines the factors influencing students’ future intentions to invest in crypto assets and differences in investment intentions among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, An Giang University. Data were collected from 310 students through convenience sampling and analyzed using descriptive statistics, multiple regression, one-way analysis of variance, and independent-samples t-tests. The findings indicate that year of university study, legal awareness of crypto assets, and previous investment experience positively and significantly affect future investment intentions. Statistically significant differences were also identified among student groups classified according to these factors. The results provide empirical evidence for policymakers and educational institutions seeking to develop appropriate financial literacy, investment-risk awareness, and crypto-asset legal education programs for university students.
