A review of digital technology acceptance and employee innovative behavior

Abstract

In the context of digital transformation, employees’ acceptance of digital technologies plays a critical role in enabling organizations to realize the benefits of digital initiatives. However, the influence of technology acceptance on employee innovative behavior is often mediated by knowledge-related mechanisms. This paper reviews and synthesizes existing research on the relationships among digital technology acceptance, knowledge sharing, and employee innovative behavior. The analysis underscores the pivotal role of knowledge sharing in translating technological resources into individual-level innovation and identifies key gaps in the literature to guide future research in digitally driven organizational contexts.
