Factors affecting employee motivation at Long Son Petrochemicals Company Limited

Abstract

This study identifies and quantifies the determinants of employee motivation at Long Son Petrochemical Company Limited. Using empirical data, the analysis reveals that seven factors exert positive and statistically significant effects on employee motivation: leadership style and competence; performance recognition and evaluation; nature of work; work environment; collegial relationships; income and benefits; and training and career development opportunities. Among these, leadership style and competence emerge as the most influential predictor (β = 0.302).
