Impact of online training on job performance: The mediating role of digital learning readiness
Published: August 3, 2026
Abstract
This study investigates the impact of online training on employee performance in Vietnamese enterprises, with a particular focus on the mediating role of digital learning readiness. The findings indicate that online training exerts a positive effect on job performance both directly and indirectly through digital learning readiness. By elucidating this mechanism, the research extends human capital theory within the context of digital transformation. The study also provides empirical evidence on the importance of fostering digital learning readiness to enhance the effectiveness of training initiatives and improve organizational performance.
