Exploring factors affecting the motivation of Nong Lam University’s students to participate into scientific researches

This study is to analyze factors affecting the motivation of students to participate into scientific researches by surveying 300 students of Nong Lam University. Cronbach's alpha, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and multiple regression analysis methods are used in this study. The study finds out that there are four factors affecting the motivation of students, including the university’s attention, the student’s competence, the student’s awareness towards scientific researches, and the lecturer. Among these factors, the competence of student has the strongest impact on the motivation of students to conduct scientific researches.
