Encouraging the knowledge sharing activities of officials and lecturers: Case study of Hanoi Open University

Abstract
This study determines the influencing factors and their impacts on the knowledge sharing activities. The study also proposes some solutions to promote these activities of Hanoi Open University’s officials and lecturers in order to impove the university’s training and scientific research quality. The study’s data is collected by using the convenient sampling method with questionnaire based on the using 5-point Likert scale. Based on the study’s multiple regression analysis and proposed research model, the study proposes these following solutions: promitng a friendly knowledge-sharing culture, recognizing and rewarding knowledge-sharing activities, promoting the good role model, encouraging the use information technology to share knowledge and promoting communications within the university.
