The current awareness of polite communications in the lecture hall of students majoring in Tourism and Hospitality Management at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City

Having a proper awareness and being polite help students make the right impression with their peers and lecturers, affirm their personal values and adapt well to their career when changes happen. This study is conducted by using questionnaires and other supporting methods. This study assesses the general awareness of polite communications in the lecture hall of students majoring in Tourism and Hospitality Management at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City via these following factors: communication language, gestures, dress and conduct in the classroom. Based on the study’s findings, some measures are proposed to promote the polite communications of students, meeting the expectations of the students themselves and the society.
