Solutions for developing the community-based tourism of Phu Yen province sustainbly

Community-based tourism is a type of tourism that has been widely researched and developed since the 1980s. With sustainable development goals, community-based tourism brings many economic and social benefits to local people, such as: creating jobs, raising incomes, improving community life, preserving and promoting indigenous cultural values and natural tourism resources associated with local communities. This study analyzes and assesses the potential and strengths of community-based tourism development, the current development of community-based tourism in Phu Yen povince. Based on the study’s findings, some solutions are proposed to sustainably develop the community-based tourism of Phu Yen province in the coming time.
