Social and environmental impacts of the tourism development in Nha Trang City

Abstract
In recent years, Nha Trang city’s tourism sector has affirmed its spearhead economic position in the economic development of Khanh Hoa province, and has made a significant contribution to the development of Nha Trang city in particular and Vietnam in particular. The tourism development has brought undeniable benefits to this city. However, there are more and more criticisms about the negative social impacts of the tourism development in Nha Trang city. This paper discusses the social and environmental impacts of the tourism development in Nha Trang city.
