The process of developing an ESG risk management strategy - the sustainable development strategy for banks

Abstract
Sustainable development strategy based on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria is currently a development trend of the banking system. To gradually develop and complete the ESG risk management strategy for banks, it is necessary to follow this step-by-step guide, firstly, establishing ESG expectations, secondly, understanding the current level of risk and integration, thirdly, identifying the level of ESG risk, fourthly, responding to ESG risks and developing an ESG policy framework, and finally, completing an ESG strategy. This paper clearly outlines ESG criteria and analyzes the process of developing an ESG risk management strategy.
