Impacts of the quality of life on the employee engagement of staff: A case study of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) - Thua Thien Hue Branch

Abstract
This study explores the impact of quality of life on the employee engagement of staff working for the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) - Thua Thien Hue Branch (BIDV Thua Thien Hue). The study finds out that there are eight factors of the quality of life affecting the employee engagement. These factors, in descending order of impact level, are fair and reasonable remuneration, suitable capacity for the job, social engagement, organizational integration, career opportunity, work-life balance, organizational rules, and working conditions. Based on the study’s findings, some recommendations are made to help BIDV Thua Thien Hue’s managers improve the employee engagement of staff.
