Abstract
This study analyzes the impacts of components of the leadership style on the job satisfaction of staff working for Can Tho Lottery State-owned Single-member Company Limited. The study’s data is collected from 170 employees of the company. The study mainly uses the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and the Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The study’s results show that the factors of Leadership capacity and Active management by exception have positive impacts on the job satisfaction of employees. Especially, the Leadership capacity factor has a stronger impact than that of the Active management by exception factor. These results reveal that employees perceive and evaluate their direct leaders based on the leadership capacity consisting of the leader’s actions, behaviors and attitudes, not simply based on the management style factor. Based on the study’s findings, some recommendations about the leadership capacity and the active management by exception are made to leaders of Can Tho Lottery State-owned Single-member Company Limited.
