A study on the factors affecting the online learning of students at the University of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City

Abstract
In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the interruption of face-to-face learning, and the strong development of technology, many schools are still using the online learning method. However, the online learning is affected by many different factors including subjective factors of learners and external objective factors. This study explores the factors affecting the online learning of students at the University of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City. By surveying 215 students from different faculties of the university, the study finds out that these following factors have impacts on the online learning of students, including Lecturer (b = 0.475), Motivation (b = 0.147), and Convenience (b = 0.129). The online learning is explained by the independent variables at 51.2%. Some recommendations are made to improve the online learning of students.
