Improving the productivity by using the kaizen philosophy at Nam Long Co., Ltd and Hoang Tam Co., Ltd

Companies always seek way to reduce the number of defective goods, production time, costs, inventory, etc. Many companies have applied the Kaizen approach to solve these problems. The Kaizen philosophy is a method of improving productivity through small but frequent changes to make bigger changes in production at low cost. Small changes are made from the ideas of workers and adapted directly at their workplace. These changes help the production process to be continuously improved. This paper presents the actual results of the application of the Kaizen approach at some companies, and draws experiences in the productivity improvement.
