Abstract
This study examines the relationship between perceived social support, fear and anxiety of COVID-19 on life satisfaction through the mediating role of psychological distress of employees working in industrial parks in Ho Chi Minh City. The study’s data is collected from 315 employees working in industrial parks in Ho Chi Minh City. The results of the study’s partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) show that all proposed hypotheses are accepted. Based on the study’s findings, some implications are drawn to help Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority (HEPZA) and the Boards of Directors of companies have supporting policies to alleviate some of the fear of COVID-19 and the psychological distress of employees in order to increase the life satisfaction of workers.
