Promoting innovation of enterprises: International experiences and lessons learnt of Vietnam

Abstract

Innovation plays an increasingly important role in the economy and it is a fundamental element in modern growth theories. Experiences from other countries, especially those that are successful in supporting and promoting innovations of enterprises, are of great significance to Vietnam. This paper summarises outstanding international experiences from some countries in promoting innovation of enterprises and proposes some policy recommendations to promote innovation of Vietnamese enterprises.
