Establishing the IPA model to improve Binh Duong Province Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital’s quality of medical examination and treatment services

Abstract
The health sector in Vietnam is facing challenges in managing the quality of hospitals. If hospitals do not change their quality management approach, it will be difficult for them to satisfy and keep patients. It is necessary for hospitals to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment services to better meet the satisfaction of patients. Based on the quality criteria for hospitals in Vietnam Version 2.0 issued by the Ministry of Health in 2016 and the IPA model developed by John A. Martilla and John C. James (1977), this paper is expected to help Binh Duong Province Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital improve its quality of medical examination and treatment services in the coming time.
