Associating the sustainable tourism development with the environmental protection in Thanh Hoa province

Abstract
The tourism industry has become a spearhead economic sector in Vietnam and it has greatly contributed to the countrys socio-economic development. However, tourism activities have also caused consequences for the environment. Therefore, associating the tourism development with the environmental protection is an urgent and vital requirement for the sustainable economic development of the country in general and the sustainable tourism development of Thanh Hoa province in particular . This paper presents the sustainable tourism development, points of view about the environmental protection and proposes some basic solutions to associate the tourism development with the environmental protection in Thanh Hoa province.
