Factors affecting the intention of high school students in Hanoi City to take a gap year

Abstract
The study is to determine the factors affecting the intention of high school students in Hanoi City to take a gap year by using qualitative and quantitative research methods. The study finds out there are seven factors affecting the intention of high school students in Hanoi City to take a gap year. These factors are internal motivation, communication, financial ability, influence of other people and society, attitude, personality, and risk perception. This study points out the development potential and proposes solutions to promote the popularity of gap year in Vietnam.
