Factors Affecting the Employability of Fresh Graduates

According to the Training Support and Human Resource Development Center under the Ministry of Education and Training, more than 400,000 bachelor's degree holders graduate in Vietnam each year. However, nearly 20% of these graduates remain unemployed. This alarming figure calls for effective solutions. Why do enterprises continue to face labor shortages while many graduates struggle to secure employment? This paper analyzes the underlying causes of this situation and identifies the key factors affecting graduates' employability. The findings are expected to help students become more proactive in career planning and better prepare themselves for successful entry into the labor market.
